If the ball lands on numbers 1-18, you lose. It can be a good method for accumulating money quickly, but it can also go the other way so be careful, or play it using the Martingale method.

The Martingale

The Martingale is one of the most famous roulette systems and a good way to minimalize your losses. It can be used in conjunction with other systems, or on its own. The basic rules of this system are that you bet the same amount on the same numbers or colour, but double your bet every time you lose. If you keep doubling each time you lose, when you win, you will recover most of your losses. Be wary of table betting limits, however.

Roulette: The Paroli

The Paroli system is for true gamblers who seek the rush of winning large amounts. The system is aggressive in the way that it aims to take advantage of hot streaks, should such things even exist. If you believe that there is such a thing as a winning streak, then using this method could be ideal for you. When you find yourself on a winning streak you need to raise your stake after each win. To explain this system in simple terms, you start by betting £1 on black. If you lose, your next bet is the same. If that bet wins, your second bet is £3 on black (Double the first bet plus one). If that loses you go back to betting £1, but if it wins, you bet £7 on black on the third bet of the streak. The system dictates that after the third bet you go back to your original bet, but this is obviously up to the player.

When you find the system that is right for you, study it well and then put it into practice. If you don’t enjoy success with it, you can always try another.
